They Call Him OG (2025)

They Call Him OG (Original Gangster) is a 2025 Telugu-language stylish action crime drama written and directed by Sujeeth. The film marks the grand return of Pawan Kalyan to the big screen in his iconic “Power Star” avatar, blending elements of Japanese samurai culture with the gritty world of the Mumbai underworld. The cast includes Emraan Hashmi making his Telugu debut, Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Prakash Raj. Music for the film is composed by Thaman S., and it was released theatrically on 25 September 2025.

The story follows Ojas Gambheera (Pawan Kalyan), a former mob boss who disappeared from Mumbai nearly a decade ago. Once a samurai-trained protector for Satya Dada (Prakash Raj), Ojas returns as OG when the ruthless Omi Bhau (Emraan Hashmi) threatens the city and Satya Dada’s family with a dangerous RDX operation. Coming out of peaceful exile, OG reclaims his territory to protect his loved ones, delivering a high-octane tale of loyalty, vengeance, and redemption.
