Leon James

Leon James is an Indian music composer and singer recognized for his contributions to Tamil and Telugu cinema. Born on December 1, 1991, in Chennai, he grew up in a musically inclined family, with his father, Noel James, serving as A. R. Rahman‘s manager. Leon began piano lessons at the age of three and played in a school band, “Zinx,” alongside his friend Anirudh Ravichander. Before becoming a solo composer, he worked as a keyboardist for leading composers like Santhosh Narayanan, Anirudh and Thaman. He debuted as a composer with Kanchana 2 (2015).
