AR Rahman

AR Rahman is a renowned Indian music composer, singer, and producer who has made significant contributions to Tamil, Hindi, and global cinema. Born in 1967, his early exposure to music came from his father, R.K. Shekhar, a composer. Rahman started by creating music for advertisements and documentaries before gaining fame with his debut film score for Roja (1992). His international acclaim reached new heights with Slumdog Millionaire (2008), which won him two Academy Awards and two Grammy Awards.
