Yash

Yash (real name Naveen Kumar Gowda, born 8 January 1986) is a popular Indian actor and producer who mainly works in the Kannada film industry. He was born in Bhuvanahalli village in Hassan district of Karnataka and developed a passion for acting at a young age. Before entering films, Yash started his career in theatre and television, appearing in Kannada TV serials like Uttarayana and Nanda Gokula. He made his film debut with Jambada Hudugi (2007) and gained recognition with Moggina Manasu (2008), for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor – Kannada.
Yash later became one of the biggest stars in Kannada cinema with successful films such as Googly, Raja Huli, Gajakesari, and Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari. His popularity reached a pan-India level after playing the iconic character “Rocky Bhai” in the blockbuster films KGF: Chapter 1 (2018) and KGF: Chapter 2 (2022). Known for his strong screen presence and stylish action roles, Yash is widely called the “Rocking Star” by his fans. He continues to expand his influence in Indian cinema with major upcoming projects, including the highly anticipated film Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups.
