War 2 (2025)

War 2 is a high-octane Hindi-language action thriller and the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe, serving as the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film stars Hrithik Roshan returning as Major Kabir Dhaliwal. The story follows Kabir as he embarks on an elaborate undercover mission to infiltrate a powerful global criminal syndicate known as the Kali Cartel. His covert actions lead to him being branded a rogue agent after he seemingly ‘assassinates’ his mentor, Colonel Luthra (played by Ashutosh Rana).

To eliminate the supposed traitor, R&AW deploys its most lethal operative, Agent Vikram (played by Jr. NTR in his Hindi debut). What follows is a spectacular, action-packed face-off across multiple countries, culminating in a shocking twist that reveals Vikram is actually Raghu, Kabir’s vengeful childhood friend and the real mole inside the agency. With music composed by Pritam Chakraborty (songs) and Sanchit Balhara & Ankit Balhara (score), it was released on 14 August 2025.
