Walking On Water (2025)

Walking On Water, released on 18 December 2025, is the fifth studio album by Indian hip-hop star DIVINE. This 16-track album celebrates his 10 years in the music industry. In this project, he mixes his powerful “gully rap” roots with big global sounds. The title Walking On Water shows his life journey — from struggling on the tough streets of Mumbai to achieving success that once looked impossible. In a historic step, the album first premiered as an exclusive audiovisual experience on JioHotstar. With this, DIVINE became the first Indian artist to launch a full studio album on an OTT platform before its official streaming release.

Musically, the album is strong and well-produced, featuring top producers like Stunnah Beatz, Phenom, and Karan Kanchan. It also smartly uses famous Bollywood samples like A.R. Rahman’s “Kehna Hi Kya” in the track “Boom” and R.D. Burman’s “Mehbooba Mehbooba” in “You & I.” The album includes exciting collaborations with Punjabi artist Gurinder Gill, viral rapper Hanumankind, and South Indian actress Kalyani Priyadarshan. With this project, DIVINE proves again why he is called a “Triple OG,” successfully connecting regional cultures with international hip-hop standards.
