Vikram Montrose

Vikram Montrose, born on 22 July 1987 in Prayagraj (Allahabad), Uttar Pradesh, is an accomplished Indian music composer, singer, songwriter, and producer who works mainly in Hindi cinema and independent music. He developed a strong foundation in music from a young age, learning instruments such as piano, guitar, and drums under his mother’s guidance and through training at his local church, before beginning his professional career in 2012.
His early break in films came when actor-producer Sanjay Dutt gave him an opportunity to work on the soundtrack of Hasmukh Pighal Gaya. Dutt later introduced him to director Rajkumar Hirani, which proved to be a turning point in his career. Montrose gained widespread recognition with the hit songs “Kar Har Maidaan Fateh” and “Baba Bolta Hai” from the 2018 biographical film Sanju. Since then, he has continued to establish himself as a dynamic and versatile presence in Indian film music and independent releases.
