Varun Sandesh

Varun Sandesh (full name Jeedigunta Varun Sandesh) is an Indian actor best known for his work in Telugu cinema. He was born on 21 July 1989 in Rayagada, Odisha, and grew up partly in Hyderabad before moving with his family to New Jersey, USA, where he completed his education. He comes from a creative background, as his grandfather Jeedigunta Ramachandra Murthy was a well-known Telugu writer associated with All India Radio.

Varun Sandesh made his acting debut as a lead actor in Sekhar Kammula’s coming-of-age blockbuster Happy Days (2007), which brought him instant fame and widespread appreciation. He went on to act in several notable Telugu films over the years. In his personal life, he married actress Vithika Sheru in 2016, and the couple later participated together in Bigg Boss Telugu 3 (2019), where Varun Sandesh emerged as a finalist, finishing as the 3rd runner-up.
