Vadh 2 (2026)

Vadh 2 is a 2026 Hindi-language crime thriller that arrived in theaters on 6 February 2026. Written and directed by Jaspal Singh Sandhu, the film is described as a “spiritual sequel” to the critically acclaimed 2022 film Vadh. While it reunites the acclaimed duo of Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta, the story is not a direct continuation but instead presents the actors in new roles within a similarly intense moral and psychological setting.

The narrative unfolds inside a claustrophobic prison in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh. Shambhunath Mishra (Sanjay Mishra), a weary prison guard nearing retirement, forms a quiet and platonic bond with Manju Singh (Neena Gupta), an inmate serving a life sentence for a double murder. Their routine is disrupted when a politically connected and violent prisoner, Keshav (Akshay Dogra), mysteriously disappears from the high-security facility, prompting a tense investigation led by officer Prakash Singh (Kumud Mishra). The film also stars Amitt K. Singh, Shilpa Shukla, and Yogita Bihani.
