Thiruveer
Thiruveer, born on 23 July 1988 in Mamidipally, Ranga Reddy district, Telangana, is a versatile Indian actor and director known for his work in Telugu theatre and cinema. He pursued a Master of Performing Arts (M.P.A.) in Theatre Arts from Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad, which gave him a strong foundation in performance and storytelling. Early in his career, he also worked as a radio jockey, popularly known as RJ Thiru, for AIR FM Rainbow 101.9 in Hyderabad.
On 20 March 2014, Thiruveer founded the Popcorn Theatre group, where he directed and acted in several stage plays that earned him recognition in theatre circles. He made his transition to films with roles in Bommalaramaram (2016) and gained wider acclaim with powerful performances in George Reddy (2019), Palasa 1978 (2020), and the horror drama Masooda (2022). His portrayal in George Reddy won him the Zee Cine Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role, and he continues to be appreciated for taking on diverse and challenging roles across genres in Telugu cinema.
