The Kerala Story 2 (2026)

The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2023 film The Kerala Story. Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and directed by National Award–winning filmmaker Kamakhya Narayan Singh, the movie expands its narrative scope from a regional focus to a broader pan-India perspective. The film is marketed as being inspired by multiple real-life court cases and is scheduled for a theatrical release on 27 February 2026.

The story follows three young women from different parts of India: Surekha Nair (Ulka Gupta), an IAS aspirant from Kerala; Neha Sant (Aishwarya Ojha), a javelin thrower from Madhya Pradesh; and Divya Paliwal (Aditi Bhatia), an aspiring social media dancer from Rajasthan. Their lives take a disturbing turn when they are lured into deceptive marriages and drawn into extremist networks, forming a narrative that the makers describe as revealing “truths hidden in plain sight.” The film explores themes of identity, manipulation, and the consequences of radicalization through the intertwined journeys of its central characters.
