Tanishk Bagchi

Tanishk Bagchi, born in Kolkata in 1980, is a prominent Indian music composer, singer, and songwriter in Bollywood. Bagchi grew up in a family with a strong musical background, as both of his parents were musicians. This early exposure to music had a significant influence on him, shaping his passion and career in the field. Bagchi began his career composing for television shows like Dance India Dance and Thapki Pyaar Ki. His breakthrough came with the 2014 film The Shaukeens, where he worked on the song “Meherbani.” In 2015, he made a significant impact with his solo debut as a composer for the hit track “Banno” featured in Tanu Weds Manu Returns.
