Super Subbu (2026)

Super Subbu is a 2026 Telugu-language streaming original comedy-drama series that premiered globally on Netflix on 2 July 2026. Directed by Mallik Ram, the seven-episode series stars Sundeep Kishan and Mithila Palkar in the lead roles. Blending lighthearted comedy with meaningful social themes, the series explores the importance of sex education, family planning, and breaking long-standing taboos in a rural setting.

The story follows Chilukuri Subramanya Rao, fondly known as Subbu (Sundeep Kishan), a shy and innocent young man raised in a conservative family under the strict guidance of his father, Kukkuteswara Rao (Murali Sharma). His life takes an unexpected turn when he is appointed as a government sex education officer and posted to the village of Maakipur in Telangana. While carrying out awareness programs on consent, menstrual hygiene, and family planning, Subbu finds himself caught in a series of hilarious misunderstandings and challenging situations.
