Subedaar (2026)

Subedaar is a 2026 Hindi-language action-drama set to premiere worldwide on 5 March 2026 on Amazon Prime Video. Directed by Suresh Triveni, the film marks Anil Kapoor’s return to a powerful and intense action role, which he has described as one of the most emotionally demanding performances of his career. Set in Madhya Pradesh, the story follows Arjun Maurya, a decorated and battle-scarred retired soldier (Subedaar) who finds it difficult to adjust to normal civilian life after years of military service.

Arjun’s quiet life is disturbed when he learns that his village is under the control of an illegal sand-mining mafia led by the ruthless Prince, played by Aditya Rawal. While the film has strong action and revenge elements, it is also a touching father-daughter story. Arjun struggles to reconnect with his daughter Shyama, played by Radhikka Madan, as their relationship has been affected by his strict discipline and long absence from home. Subedaar beautifully combines high-energy action with deep emotional drama.
