Sri Chidambaram Garu (2026)

Sri Chidambaram Garu is a 2026 Telugu-language rural indie drama that arrived in theaters on 6 February 2026. Directed by debutant Vinay Ratnam and produced by Sri Chakras Entertainments (the makers of the 2024 hit KA), the film is an earnest, character-driven story centered on self-love and overcoming deep-seated insecurities.

The narrative follows Solomon (Vamsi Tummala), a kind-hearted construction laborer living in a village near Rajahmundry. Because of a squint in his eye, he is mockingly nicknamed “Chidambaram,” which causes him to hide behind dark sunglasses and struggle with low self-esteem. His life begins to change when Leela (Sandhya Vasishta), a local girl, falls in love with him, encouraging him to confront his fears and realize that his imperfections do not define his worth. The film also stars Gopinath, Sivakumar Matta, Kalpalatha Garllapati, Arun Kumar, Tulasi, Naidu Moram, and Shankar Rao, with music composed by Chandu and Ravi.
