SP Charan

Sripathi Panditharadhyula Charan, known as SP Charan, is an Indian playback singer, actor, producer, and director predominantly active in Tamil and Telugu cinema. Born on January 7, 1972, in Chennai, he is the son of the legendary singer S.P. Balasubrahmanyam. Charan was trained in Carnatic music from a young age and pursued higher education in Business Administration and film and television in the U.S. He began his playback singing career in the late 1990s and made his acting debut with Maha Edabidangi in 1999.
