Sivakarthikeyan

Sivakarthikeyan, born on 17 February 1985 in Singampunari, Sivaganga district, Tamil Nadu, is a popular Indian actor, playback singer, lyricist, film producer, and television presenter who works mainly in Tamil cinema. He began his journey in the entertainment industry as a stand-up comedian and reality TV personality, gaining wide recognition after winning the comedy show Kalakka Povathu Yaaru? in 2006. He later became a familiar face on television by hosting several shows on Star Vijay.

His entry into films came with the Tamil movie Marina (2012), after which he quickly rose to fame through a series of commercially successful and critically appreciated films. Over the years, Sivakarthikeyan has established himself as one of the leading actors in South Indian cinema. Apart from acting, he is also known for his singing and lyric writing, and he runs his own production banner, Sivakarthikeyan Productions.
