Sing Geetham (2026)

Sing Geetham is a Telugu-language musical fantasy comedy-drama that was released in theatres on 12 June 2026. The film marks the much-awaited return of legendary filmmaker Singeetham Srinivasa Rao, known for classics such as Pushpaka Vimana, Aditya 369, and Bhairava Dweepam. Produced by Nag Ashwin and presented by C. Aswini Dutt under the Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema banners, the movie features music by Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) and stars Ahilya Bamroo, Ayaan Khan, Shalini Kondepudi, Siva Narayana, Banerjee, Wamcee, and others. The film brings a fresh and experimental musical storytelling style to Telugu cinema.

Set in the drought-stricken mining village of Kuberapuram, the story revolves around Gauri (Ahilya Bamroo), a kind-hearted woman who protects the village’s last sacred tree from the effects of unchecked corporate mining. When a young man named Prathap (Ayaan Khan) arrives and falls in love with her, he is unable to stop powerful forces from destroying the tree. This act unleashes a divine curse that takes away the villagers’ ability to speak normally, forcing them to communicate only through songs. To break the spell, the entire community must reflect on their actions, overcome greed, and rediscover harmony with nature. Sing Geetham combines fantasy, music, comedy, and social themes into a unique and heartwarming cinematic experience.
