Shraddha Pandit

Shraddha Pandit (born 4 July 1982 in Mumbai) is a seasoned Indian playback singer, solo artist, composer, and lyricist who has been active in the Bollywood music industry since the late 1990s. She hails from a celebrated musical family, being the grand-niece of legendary classical vocalist Pandit Jasraj and part of the renowned Pandit musical lineage. Her family includes her singer-sister Shweta Pandit and actor-brother Yash Pandit, making music and performing arts a natural part of her upbringing.
Shraddha began her singing career at a young age and trained in Hindustani classical music under her grandfather, which laid a strong foundation for her versatile voice. Over the years, she has worked with leading composers such as A.R. Rahman, Salim–Sulaiman, Amit Trivedi, and Badshah, and delivered popular Bollywood songs like “Pani Wala Dance,” “Aaj Raat Ka Scene,” “Sweety Tera Drama,” “Jigar Da Tukda,” and “Sasural Genda Phool.” She also released her independent album Teri Heer in 2008, for which she wrote the lyrics and composed the music herself. In recent years, she has expanded into lyric writing and received several honours, including an Honorary Doctorate in 2023, recognizing her multifaceted contribution to contemporary Indian music.
