Sahakutumbaanaam (2026)

Sahakutumbaanaam is a 2026 Telugu-language family comedy-drama directed by debutant Uday Sharma and released as a New Year special on 1 January 2026. The film takes an honest and unconventional approach to family relationships, moving away from the idealized portrayals often seen in Indian cinema. It stars debutant Raam Kiran in the lead role, alongside Megha Akash, Rajendra Prasad, Brahmanandam, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Satya, and Racha Ravi. Music for the film is composed by Mani Sharma.

The story follows Kalyan (Raam Kiran), a software engineer who presents himself to the world as a man from a perfect, happy family. He falls in love with Siri (Megha Akash), an orphan who longs for the warmth and security of family life. After marriage, Siri moves in with Kalyan, only to discover that the people living with him are not actually his relatives. As the truth behind this strange arrangement slowly unfolds, the film explores the emotional chaos, hidden secrets, and the possibility of whether a group of strangers can truly come together and become a real family.
