Ranjit Bawa

Ranjit Bawa (real name Ranjit Singh Bajwa, born 14 March 1989 in Gurdaspur, Punjab, India) is a popular Punjabi singer and actor known for his work in Punjabi music and cinema. He developed a passion for singing at a young age and later completed a Master’s degree in Music from Guru Nanak Dev University in Amritsar. Ranjit Bawa gained major recognition with his debut single “Jatt Di Akal” in 2013, which became a big hit and won the PTC Punjabi Music Award for Best Folk-Oriented Song.

After his successful debut, he released his first album Mitti Da Bawa in 2015, which further increased his popularity among Punjabi music fans. Apart from singing, Ranjit Bawa also stepped into the film industry and made his acting debut with the Punjabi movie Toofan Singh in 2017. With his powerful voice and strong connection to Punjabi folk music, he has become one of the well-known artists in the Punjabi entertainment industry.
