Psych Siddhartha (2026)

Psych Siddhartha is a 2026 Telugu-language dark romantic comedy-drama directed by debutant Varun Reddy. Released in theatres on 1 January 2026 as a New Year special, the film opened with a wacky and edgy tone. It stars Shree Nandu, who also co-produced the film and co-wrote the screenplay, in a physically and emotionally demanding role. The cast also includes Yamini Bhaskar, Narasimha S, Priyanka Rebekah Srinivas, Sukesh, and others, with music composed by Smaran Sai.

The story follows Siddhartha (Shree Nandu), a perpetual loser whose life is filled with constant failures. After being cheated in business and dumped by his materialistic girlfriend Trisha (Priyanka Rebekah Srinivas), he withdraws into a self-destructive and isolated life. His journey changes when he meets Shravya (Yamini Bhaskar), a reserved classical dancer and single mother escaping an abusive marriage. Told through non-linear storytelling with a graphic-novel-like style, the film explores how two emotionally broken individuals try to heal each other amid chaos, dark humor, and slum-based comedy of errors.
