Pritam
Pritam Chakraborty, widely recognized as Pritam, is a versatile Indian music composer, guitarist, producer, and playback singer known for his contributions to Bollywood music. Born on June 14, 1971, in Kolkata, West Bengal, into a Bengali Brahmin family, he received early musical training from his father, Anuradha Chakraborty, and developed his guitar skills during school.
After completing his education in Sound Engineering from FTII Pune, Pritam moved to Mumbai in 1997, initially working on ad jingles. He began his career as a co-composer with the film Tere Liye in 2001 and gained widespread recognition with his solo work on the soundtrack of Dhoom in 2004.
