Peter (2026)

Peter is a Kannada-language intense suspense thriller, also planned for a pan-Indian release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi. Directed by Sukesh Shetty, the film stars Raajesh Dhruva in the titular role, alongside Ram Nadagoud, Varun Patel, Prathima Nayak, and Raghu Pandeshwar. Set against the misty, rain-soaked landscapes of Madikeri and Bhagamandala, the film blends gritty crime drama with rich elements of traditional folk culture.

The story follows Peter, a man haunted by a mysterious past, whose personal search for truth slowly turns into a dangerous confrontation with the darkest sides of human nature. Deeply rooted cultural art forms such as Chende Mela, Singari Mela, Yakshagana, and Bhootakola are woven into the narrative, adding emotional and cultural depth. As every choice leads to grave consequences and every silence hides pain, Peter finds himself fighting not to win, but to protect his sense of justice, love, and identity. The film’s music is composed by Ritviik Muralidhar. This film is scheduled for release in early 2026.
