Peddi (2026)

Peddi is an upcoming pan-Indian Telugu-language sports action-drama, also releasing in Hindi and several other languages. Directed and written by Buchi Babu Sana (of Uppena fame), the film stars Ram Charan in the titular role, supported by a stellar ensemble cast including Janhvi Kapoor, Kannada star Dr. Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma.

Set against the rustic backdrop of rural Andhra Pradesh in the 1980s, the film showcases Ram Charan in a rugged, mass avatar. Peddi has generated significant buzz for its focus on regional sports, intense drama, and emotional storytelling. The music is composed by A. R. Rahman, adding to the film’s anticipation.
