Mohit Chauhan is a famous Indian playback singer, and composer known for his work in Hindi music. Born on March 11, 1966, in Nahan, Himachal Pradesh, he initially pursued a degree in Geology before discovering his true passion for music. He gained fame as the lead vocalist of the indie-pop band Silk Route, which debuted with the album Boondein in 1998, featuring iconic tracks like ‘Dooba Dooba’ and ‘Pehchan’. Mohit ventured into Bollywood with his debut song ‘Pehli Nazar Mein Dari Thi’ from the film Road (2002).
