Mithoon
Mithoon Sharma, widely known as Mithoon, is a talented Indian music composer, singer, and songwriter who has made a significant impact in Bollywood. Born on January 11, 1985, into a musically gifted family, he is the grandson of Pandit Ram Prasad Sharma, a revered music teacher, and the nephew of Pyarelal from the legendary Laxmikant-Pyarelal duo. Mithoon’s father, Naresh Sharma, was highly skilled in creating musical arrangements.
Mithoon began learning music at the age of 11 and gained recognition with his recreated tracks “Woh Lamhe” in Zeher (2005) and “Aadat” in Kalyug (2005). He made his debut as an original composer with Bas Ek Pal (2006) and introduced Arijit Singh to Bollywood with the song “Phir Mohabbat” from Murder 2 (2011). Over the years, Mithoon has earned several accolades, including Filmfare Awards, for his soulful compositions.
