Maa Behen (transl. Mother Sister) is an Indian Hindi-language black comedy crime thriller that premiered digitally on Netflix on 4 June 2026. Directed by Suresh Triveni, the film stars Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, Dharna Durga, and Ravi Kishan in lead roles. Featuring a strong female-led cast, the movie blends dark humor, crime, and satire while taking a sharp look at small-town gossip, moral policing, and social judgment. It was also released with multilingual audio options, including a Telugu dubbed version.

The story is set in the closely connected neighborhood of Adarsh Colony and follows Rekha (Madhuri Dixit), an independent widow who is constantly targeted by local gossip. She lives alone after raising her two daughters, Jaya (Triptii Dimri), who is trapped in an unhappy marriage, and Sushma (Dharna Durga), a lively social media influencer. Their lives are turned upside down when Charitra Kumar Gupta (Ravi Kishan), the colony’s self-appointed moral guardian, unexpectedly dies inside Rekha’s house during a confrontation. With no idea how to handle the situation, Rekha calls her daughters for help, leading to a series of hilarious and suspenseful events as the three women try to hide the body during a noisy wedding celebration taking place right next door. Maa Behen combines crime, comedy, and family drama into an entertaining and unpredictable story.
