Kausar Munir

Kausar Munir is an Indian lyricist and dialogue writer known for her work in Hindi cinema. Born in Bandra, Mumbai, she holds a degree in English Literature from St. Xavier’s College. Her writing career began with the TV show “Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin,” leading to her success in Bollywood. Kausar has written lyrics for many popular songs and worked as a language consultant for films like English Vinglish (2012). In her personal life, she was married actor Nirmal Pandey in 1997, but they separated and divorced in 2000. She has been married to Naveen Pandita since 2001, and they have a daughter, Sophie Pandita.
