Kapil Sharma
Kapil Sharma (born 2 April 1981 in Amritsar, Punjab, India) is a hugely popular Indian stand-up comedian, television host, actor, producer, and singer, widely credited with reshaping comedy on Indian television. He first rose to prominence after winning The Great Indian Laughter Challenge (Season 3) in 2007, which marked the beginning of his successful career in entertainment and highlighted his natural comic timing and strong stage presence.
Over the years, Kapil became a household name through iconic comedy shows such as Comedy Nights with Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show, both celebrated for their celebrity guests, humorous sketches, and relatable humor that connected with audiences in India and abroad. Beyond television, he made his Bollywood debut with Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon (2015). He has also lent his voice to animated projects and showcased his singing talent by finishing as the second runner-up on the reality show Star Ya Rockstar in 2011.
