Jigris (2025)

Jigris is a 2025 Telugu-language buddy comedy road film written and directed by debutant Harish Reddy Uppula. The film created strong pre-release buzz after its teaser was launched by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who described it as a raw and authentic portrayal of friendship. The cast includes Krishna Burugula, Ram Nitin, Dheeraj Athreya, and Mani Vaka in the lead roles, with music composed by Syed Kamran. The film was released theatrically on 14 November 2025.

The story follows four childhood friends—Karthik, Praveen, Vinay, and Prashanth—whose lives change when they learn that Prashanth is suffering from terminal cancer. Determined to fulfill his final wish, they set off on a crazy road trip to Goa in an old Maruti 800, with no money, no phones, and no proper plan. What follows is a chain of hilarious and chaotic misadventures involving villagers, a condom-related confusion, and even an unexpected encounter with Maoists. While the first half delivers laugh-out-loud comedy, the final moments turn deeply emotional, serving as a touching tribute to friendship and togetherness.
