Jasmeen Akhtar

Jasmeen Akhtar, born on July 18, 1991, in Ludhiana, Punjab, is a renowned Indian Punjabi singer known for her melodious voice and contributions to the Punjabi music industry. Coming from a musically inclined family, she is the sister of Gurlej Akhtar, a well-known Punjabi singer. Jasmeen made her debut in 2014 with the song Chan Makhna under Korona Productions and has since collaborated with several prominent artists.

In 2022, she faced controversy over allegations of promoting gun culture in the song Kaafla, but she clarified her limited involvement and distanced herself from the issue.
