Ikkis (2026)

Ikkis is a Hindi-language biographical war drama directed by Sriram Raghavan. The film marks the theatrical debut of Agastya Nanda, who portrays the legendary Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, India’s youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra. The story serves as a high-stakes and emotionally charged tribute to Khetarpal’s extraordinary heroism during the Battle of Basantar in the 1971 Indo-Pak War.

A significant highlight of the film is the presence of the late Dharmendra in a pivotal role as Arun’s father, M.L. Khetarpal, marking the legendary actor’s final screen appearance. Originally scheduled for a Christmas 2025 release on 25 December, the film’s release date was later postponed by a week. As announced by the makers on X, Ikkis is now set to release theatrically on 1 January 2026.
