IKKA (Ikka Singh)

IKKA (real name Ankit Singh Patyal, born 2 September 1988 in New Delhi, India) is an Indian rapper, lyricist, composer, and singer known for his work in Hindi and Punjabi hip-hop as well as Bollywood music. He is also known by the stage names Ikka and Ikka Singh, and was previously known as Young Amli. He started his career in the underground rap scene and first gained attention as a member of the popular hip-hop group Mafia Mundeer, along with artists like Yo Yo Honey Singh, Raftaar, and Lil Golu. After this early phase, IKKA moved into a solo career and slowly became one of the recognized voices in India’s growing Desi hip-hop movement.
IKKA became more popular with his Bollywood songs and collaborations, making his film debut with the track “In Da Club” from the movie Tamanchey (2014). Over the years, he has delivered several hit songs such as “Dilbar,” “Badri Ki Dulhania,” “Urvashi,” and “Half Window Down.” Known for mixing catchy hooks with energetic rap verses, IKKA has collaborated with artists like Badshah, Raftaar, Guru Randhawa, Neha Kakkar, and DIVINE. With his unique style and strong presence in both Bollywood and independent music, he has become an important figure in modern Indian hip-hop.
