Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos (2026)

Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos is a Hindi-language spy action-comedy that marks the directorial debut of actor-comedian Vir Das, co-directed by Kavi Shastri. Produced by Aamir Khan Productions, the film has created strong buzz for reuniting the main cast of the 2011 cult classic Delhi Belly—Vir Das, Aamir Khan, and Imran Khan. The film stars Vir Das, Mithila Palkar, Mona Singh, Sharib Hashmi, with special appearances by Imran Khan, making his comeback after ten years, and Aamir Khan in an eccentric role.

The story follows Happy Patel (Vir Das), a clumsy small-town man obsessed with international espionage. After failing to enter MI7 seven times, he is mistakenly identified as a secret agent and sent on a covert mission to India. Landing in Goa with an exaggerated foreign accent and zero spy skills, Happy gets caught in a series of hilarious misunderstandings that slowly pull him into a real criminal network. Blending over-the-top action, quirky romance, and sharp satire, the film offers a wacky take on the spy genre. It is scheduled for a theatrical release on 16 January 2026.
