GV Prakash Kumar

GV Prakash Kumar, born June 13, 1987, in Chennai, is a prominent film music composer, playback singer, and actor known for his work in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu cinema. With a musical lineage—his mother A. R. Reihana is a playback singer and his uncle A. R. Rahman a renowned composer—Prakash Kumar began his career as a vocalist in the 1993 film Gentleman and debuted as a composer with the acclaimed Veyil in 2006. He ventured into acting in 2015 with Darling. Prakash Kumar married singer Saindhavi in 2013, and they have a daughter, Anvi, born in 2020.
