Gustaakh Ishq (2025)

Gustaakh Ishq is a Hindi-language romantic drama directed by Vibhu Puri, set in the mid-1990s against the visually rich backdrops of Old Delhi and Malerkotla, Punjab. The film stars Vijay Varma as Nawabuddin, an Urdu publisher struggling to save his family’s printing press, and Fatima Sana Shaikh as Minni, the daughter of a guilt-ridden Urdu poet played by Naseeruddin Shah. The movie marks fashion designer Manish Malhotra‘s debut as a producer and unfolds as an old-school love story expressed through refined Urdu poetry.

With music composed by Vishal Bhardwaj and lyrics by Gulzar, the soundtrack elevates the film’s emotional depth. The film was released theatrically on 28 November 2025.
