Garry Sandhu

Garry Sandhu (real name Gurmukh Singh Sandhu, born 4 April 1984 in Rurka Kalan, Jalandhar, Punjab, India) is a popular Punjabi singer, rapper, songwriter, and actor known for his work in Punjabi music. He started his singing career in 2010 with the song “Main Ni Peenda.” Before becoming successful, he faced many struggles in the UK, where he worked different jobs while chasing his dream of becoming a singer, making his journey inspiring for many young artists.
Over the years, Garry Sandhu has delivered many hit songs like “Illegal Weapon,” “Yeah Baby,” “Banda Ban Ja,” and “Excuses,” gaining both national and international popularity. His track “Illegal Weapon” became especially famous and was later recreated in Bollywood films. Apart from music, he has also acted in Punjabi movies such as Romeo Ranjha (2014) and runs his own music label Fresh Media Records. With his versatile style and global reach, Garry Sandhu continues to be a major name in modern Punjabi music.
