Funky (2026)

Funky is a 2026 Telugu-language satirical comedy-drama that was released in theaters on 13 February 2026. Directed by K.V. Anudeep, the film stars Vishwak Sen and Kayadu Lohar in the lead roles. The film is produced by Naga Vamsi S. and Sai Soujanya under the banners Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.

The story follows Komal (Vishwak Sen), a struggling and slightly eccentric film director whose ambitious project—also titled Funky—begins to spiral out of control due to mounting budget issues and production chaos. When the veteran producer (VK Naresh) is hospitalized from the stress, his practical and sharp-minded daughter Chitra (Kayadu Lohar) takes charge of the film’s finances and production. What follows is a humorous clash between Komal’s creative vision and Chitra’s practical approach, as the team attempts to complete the film with limited resources, leading to a series of chaotic and satirical moments that poke fun at the filmmaking process itself.
