Emiway Bantai
Emiway Bantai, born Bilal Shaikh on November 13, 1995, in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is a well-known Indian rapper, singer, and songwriter. He completed his schooling at Lakshdham High School in Mumbai. Inspired by artists like Eminem and Lil Wayne, he chose his stage name as a tribute to them. Emiway started his music career in 2013 with the track Glint Lock, uploading his songs on YouTube. His breakthrough came in 2019 when he contributed the song Asli Hip Hop to the Bollywood film Gully Boy. Known for his independent approach, he founded his own music label, Bantai Records, and has collaborated with various artists.
