Dhee
Dhee (Dheekshitha Venkadeshan) is an Indian playback singer renowned for her powerful and distinctive voice, primarily known for her work in Tamil cinema and independent music. Born on June 26, 1998, in Jaffna, Sri Lanka, to Tamil parents, she grew up in Sydney, Australia. Dhee is the stepdaughter of renowned music composer Santhosh Narayanan. Her mother, Meenakshi Iyer, a Carnatic musician, was previously married to Venkadeshan. Dhee began her playback singing career with the song “Disco Woman” from the Tamil film Pizza II: Villa (2013).
