Dhanush

Dhanush is a versatile and acclaimed Indian actor, playback singer, producer, and lyricist, primarily known for his work in Tamil cinema. Born as Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja on July 28, 1983, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, he made his acting debut with Thulluvadho Ilamai (2002), directed by his father, Kasthuri Raja.

He made his Hindi film debut with Raanjhanaa in 2013. In 2018, he appeared in his first international film, the English-language French movie The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir. Besides acting, he is known for singing popular songs like the viral hit Why This Kolaveri Di. His talent and work have made him one of the most popular and respected stars in Indian cinema.
