Daggubati Venkatesh

Daggubati Venkatesh, born on 13 December 1960 and popularly known as Victory Venkatesh or simply Venky, is a highly respected Indian film actor and producer who has been one of the leading stars of Telugu cinema for nearly four decades. He is the son of legendary film producer D. Ramanaidu and belongs to the renowned Daggubati–Akkineni film family. Venkatesh completed his education, including an MBA from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in the United States, before entering the film industry. He made his acting debut with Kaliyuga Pandavulu (1986), which became a commercial success and brought him early recognition.
Over the years, Venkatesh has acted in numerous films across a wide range of genres, including action, intense drama, family entertainers, and romantic comedies, earning immense respect for his versatility and consistency. He has also appeared in Hindi projects such as Anari (1993), Taqdeerwala (1995), and the web series Rana Naidu (2023). Apart from acting, he is a co-owner of Suresh Productions, one of India’s largest and most prestigious film production houses, and has worked on many films under its banner. He also serves as the mentor of the Telugu Warriors team in the Celebrity Cricket League, further highlighting his influence beyond cinema.
