Couple Friendly (2026)

Couple Friendly is a 2026 Telugu-language romantic drama that was released in theaters on 14 February 2026 as a Valentine’s Day special. Directed by debutant Ashwin Chandrasekhar, the film features Santosh Sobhan and former Miss India Manasa Varanasi. The music for the film is composed by Aditya Ravindran.

The story is set in Chennai and follows Shiva (Santosh Sobhan), a struggling interior designer from Nellore who works as a bike-taxi driver to support himself. His life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Mithra (Manasa Varanasi), an IT professional who is searching for a job and struggling with accommodation. Due to financial constraints, the two strangers decide to share a room as roommates, and what begins as a practical arrangement slowly develops into a deep emotional bond. The narrative takes a dramatic turn in the second half when a terminal illness enters their lives, testing their love, resilience, and the strength of their relationship.
