Chandrabose

Kanukuntla Subhash Chandrabose, known as Chandrabose, is a notable Indian lyricist in Telugu cinema. Born on May 10, 1970, in Challagariga, Warangal district, Andhra Pradesh, he initially pursued a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering before transitioning to lyric writing. His debut came with the 1995 film Taj Mahal, but his major success was with the song “Naatu Naatu” from RRR (2022), which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. This achievement made him the first Telugu lyricist to win an Oscar. Chandrabose is married to Suchitra, a Telugu film choreographer, and they have two children, Nanda Vanamali and Amrita Varshini.
