Bohemia, born Roger David on October 15, 1979, in Karachi, Pakistan, is a pioneering Pakistani-American rapper, songwriter, and record producer known for his contributions to the Punjabi music industry. His family moved to the United States when he was 13, settling in California. In 2002, Bohemia released his debut album, Vich Pardesan De, which marked the beginning of Punjabi rap. He gained further recognition in 2009 by performing the title track for the Bollywood film Chandni Chowk to China. Throughout his career, Bohemia has been celebrated for blending Punjabi lyrics with hip-hop beats, influencing a new wave of South Asian music artists.
