Bhooth Bangla (trans. Haunted House) is a 2026 Hindi-language horror-comedy directed by legendary filmmaker Priyadarshan. The film is one of the most awaited releases of the year as it marks his reunion with Akshay Kumar after 14 years, their last collaboration being Khatta Meetha in 2010. Known for his perfect mix of comedy and chaos, Priyadarshan brings back his signature style with a spooky twist. The movie is scheduled for theatrical release on 10 April 2026.

The story revolves around a quirky horror-comedy setup rooted in Indian mythology and black magic. Akshay Kumar plays a specialized “Bhooth-fixer” or modern-day tantrik who is called to solve the mystery of an ancient mansion filled with supernatural disturbances. Along with him, the film stars Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, and others in important roles.
