Battle Of Galwan (2026)

Battle of Galwan is one of the most significant Indian war-action dramas of 2026. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced by Salman Khan Films, the movie is a cinematic retelling of the real-life Galwan Valley clash of 15 June 2020 between Indian and Chinese troops. The confrontation led to the tragic loss of 20 Indian soldiers, including Colonel B. Santosh Babu, and highlighted the extraordinary courage of soldiers who fought in a brutal high-altitude battle without firearms, following international protocols in place at the time. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on 17 April 2026.

The film stars Salman Khan in a rugged, battle-hardened role, portraying a character inspired by Colonel B. Santosh Babu, the commanding officer of the 16 Bihar Regiment, who was posthumously awarded the Maha Vir Chakra. Chitrangda Singh plays the female lead. The narrative focuses on bravery, sacrifice, and the harsh realities faced by soldiers in extreme conditions, presenting a tribute to the resilience and heroism of the Indian Armed Forces.
