Barabar Premistha (2026)

Barabar Premistha is a 2026 Telugu-language rural romantic drama that hit theaters on 6 February 2026. Directed by Sampath V. Rudra, the film features Chandra Hass — son of veteran television actor Prabhakar — in the lead role, with the actor presenting himself on screen as the “Attitude Star.” The film’s music is composed by RR Dhruvan.

The story is set in the village of Rudraram, a place deeply divided by a long-standing and bitter rivalry between the Karmani and Dharmani lineages. The narrative follows Chandu (Chandra Hass) and Bujjamma (Megna Mukherjee), who belong to opposite sides of this feud but fall deeply in love. In an attempt to escape the hostility and restrictions of their village, the couple elopes to Kerala. However, a life-changing incident forces them to return, and instead of living in hiding, they resolve to confront their families and bring peace between the two warring factions, turning their love story into a journey of reconciliation and unity.
