Ayushmann Khurrana
Ayushmann Khurrana was born on 14 September 1984 in Chandigarh, India, and his birth name is Nishant Khurrana. He is a multitalented artist who has built a strong career in the Hindi film industry as an actor, singer, television host, and sometimes lyricist. He first became popular after winning MTV Roadies Season 2 in 2004. Before becoming a well-known face in Bollywood, he also worked as a radio jockey, VJ, and television host, which helped him gain confidence and valuable experience before moving into movies.
Ayushmann made his film debut in 2012 with Vicky Donor, a romantic-comedy about sperm donation. The movie was a huge success and made him widely popular. He is also known for singing, and his song Pani Da Rang from Vicky Donor, which he co-composed, became a major hit and won him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer. Ayushmann has often said that he considers himself “an actor who sings,” not a singer who acts.
Throughout his career, he has received many major awards, including the National Film Award and multiple Filmfare Awards. His unique choice of films and consistent performances have made him one of the most respected actors in Bollywood. He married writer-director Tahira Kashyap in 2008, and they have two children. His brother, Aparshakti Khurana, is also an actor.
